Why I'm Running

“I believe that public service is not just a responsibility, but a profound calling. As a senior advisor to the Mayor, an educator, and a commissioner, I have a proven track record of service to Riverside. Our city is at a crossroads with complex challenges and immense opportunities; Ward 1 needs a steady and experienced leader who can hit the ground running on day one to ensure our communities thrive. I look forward to continuing my dedication to this work on the City Council."

Addressing Homelessness

Riverside has a homelessness crisis. I will continue to advocate for high quality, affordable housing development, while collaborating with our county and state leaders to focus on the mental and behavioral health issues we see on our streets every day. There also must be enforcement of our laws and anti-camping ordinances to protect local business owners and the overall quality of life for Ward 1

Expanding Economic Opportunity

Riverside is at a time of great potential for economic development. I pledge to collaborate with our business and education sectors to identify, attract, and welcome targeted technology businesses that bring high paying, skilled jobs to Ward 1.
